Last night I had a dream that I think really exemplifies what my mind space is these days.

San Diego! It was awesome. I had such a good time. Friday night my friends and I all went to the beach, had good food, built a bonfire and blared techno music replete with rented speakers and a turntable. I danced my little heart out. Oh geez. So I found out the YWCA I've been advertising for my nonviolent communication workshop is defunct. The address is actually a school. ::headdesk:: But I am booked at the YWCA. It's just in Berkeley, not Oakland. And the Berkeley building is near a BART station too. Still.

So my mom told me I should probably concentrate more on finding a job rather than being social. I just can't help it though. All these people are coming to town and I just don't like to pass up opportunities. BUT I do have an interview at a temp agency tomorrow and I applied to a ton of jobs yesterday so I mean, I am trying.

I am SOOO  excited about my impending move. Who can't wait to get out of North Carolina? AND for the first time I'm excited about my move and not scared. I watched Oprah the other night (shhh, nothing was on t.v.) and there were three women on talking about the law of attraction, "The Secret," etc. And one of them said something that really struck ( Read more... )
